Today we review the following:
Day 95: I am one Self, united with my Creator.
Day 96: Salvation comes from my one Self.
As I have mentioned several times in previous postings, we are all One. All of us are joined together by virtue of the fact that we are all extensions of the same Source, which is God. Combined, we are the Whole Sonship, which means that we are all the Son of God. This is the meaning behind "I am one Self, united with my Creator." It is from our knowledge and awareness of our Oneness that we will bring salvation unto the world.
"I am you are me are we are all." I wrote this in Day 95. When you look at another, do you not see two eyes, two ears, a nose, and a mouth? Even on a purely physical level, we are more alike than we are different. Emotionally we are even more in common. We all want to feel good. We all want to feel loved. We all have dreams, desires and ambitions. The form these take may vary, but that is all relative. All in all, we are the same through and through. We are all Love, expressed in an infinite number of different ways, and thank God for that. One of the beauties of Life is the variety it offers. It may seem like a contradiction, but this variety is only possible because of our same-ness. Our Source is One and the same. And our Source, God, operates on the principle of expansion. Constant change and motion are the crux of such a principle, and we are here to express His Love in as many ways as we can conceive.
Think of it this way: Science has shown that of the billions, perhaps trillions, of snowflakes that have fallen, there is not a single one that is identical to another. Yet each snowflake is made of the same substance - water. Each of us is like a single snowflake - unique and precious in our own way, yet made of the same "stuff" as everyone else, including our Source. And that "stuff" of which we are created, of course, is Love.
In our true and consistent recognition of this, we are saved. Our salvation is one another, by Seeing that there is actually only One of us. In this realization, we will no longer starve one another, inflict war upon each other, nor steal, nor lie, nor cheat. We will no longer do these things, for we will know that in so doing, we are only harming ourselves.
Let us try today, then, to see more what we have in common with the people we encounter than how we may differ. Do this with your family. Do this with your friends. Do this with the strangers you pass on the street. Where differences arise, let us rejoice in the blessed variety which Life offers, as we see those differences merely as unique expressions of the same "stuff" of which we are all made - Love. By taking just this simple step, we will make leaps and bounds toward achieving our salvation here on earth. So let us not delay in seeing one another as One.
Until tomorrow,
Journeyman
