As I meditated on today's lesson, something came over me. A deep awareness began to surge through me, and I knew I must grab my pen and paper. This is what I scribed:
There is but One Love, expressed in an infinite number of ways. It appears there are different kinds of Love, when all Love is actually the same. Family, friendship, romance - these are simply different ways in which we experience that One Love.My pen stopped moving at that moment, which suffices to say that there is no more to say. All I will add here is this: With this knowledge, let us live our lives in harmony and in peace, with greater awareness of Who We Are and to Where we will all inevitably return. Conflict and anguish is unnecessary. We have nothing to fear. Love is All there Is, and All there ever Will Be. Thank God for that.
The Big Bang was the beginning of the contextual structure we call time. It was born out of Love, for that is All there Really Is and All there ever Will Be. In Truth, there is no time, but God created it so as to have a context through which He could experience Who He Is - and He is Love.
God experiences His Love through us, His Children, and we are only able to do this through the construct of time. Only in time can Love have an opposite. This opposite is fear, and it is of our own making. We have done so because, in time, we believe ourselves to be separate from one another and from God. In Reality, this is not so, for God is All there Is.
We appear as separate beings only so that we may experience the infinite number of Love's expressions, which manifest emotionally and leave an imprint on the physical world. We forget that in Truth we are all One because of our perceived physical separateness. In doing so, we unconsciously create Love's opposite - fear.
Where Love is withheld, fear is expressed in its place. What is made in fear, out of belief in separation, cloaks that which is Real. And only Love is Real. Everything else is an illusion of our misguided minds, from the part that believes it is all alone, isolated in a hostile world. This is our ego mind. But it, too, is an illusion.
The only up side of fear is that it serves as a basis for comparison. When Love is juxtaposed with fear, we remember Who We Really Are. This is our salvation. To achieve this, we need but turn around and See the Light. We do this by turning our way of thinking around, by determining to see the bright side in the midst of darkness. If we hold our fear up to the Light, we understand Who We Are and who we are not. In doing so our fear is dispelled, for fear, being nothing and nonexistent in Reality, is but a shadow - it disappears when Light is shined upon it.
As Neale Donald Walsch discovered in Conversations with God, to remember is to re-member. Our Oneness has become dismembered. To re-member is to bring together again. And what function does Love serve than to bring together? Yes, Love also sets free, and it does so through its own extension and expansion. But setting free is not to be confused with breaking apart. Love sets free in order to then bring together. That is all it is capable of, for We are All One in God, and there is no Love but God's.
Until tomorrow,
Journeyman
